Temperance Tipples - from Inside lancashire

Ever since I was a young girl my dad took me to the pop man at Melson market I've had a love for Sarsaparilla and Dandelion & Burdock, so it came as a nice surprise when the nice people from Mr Fitzpatrick's Temperance Bar when we visited Helmshore Farmers' Market and when they offered me some free samples... Well, it would have been rude to say no!

In an era of Redbull energy drinks and tooth rotting pop these cordials have been forgotten, which is a shame, becaise I defy you to find me a drink that you'd rather have after a strenuous walk up a large mountain.

These aren't just quaint bits of nostalgia, they're cracking drinks which deserve to be on the shelf of every supermarket in England!
